It’s been a while since I’ve been asked to sit on the floor and listen to a pitch—but that’s exactly what happened this month when I was invited to judge an innovation pitch at the National Museum of Ireland.

Over the past few months, the museum’s education team have been taking part in the Change Makers Innovation Program, and the results were inspiring. Six incredible pitches showcased creative solutions to challenges across the museum’s work, each idea brimming with originality and purpose.

As someone who grew up visiting the museum—and now enjoys exploring it with my sons—it was heartening to witness the passion, care, and commitment these educators bring to enhancing the visitor experience. Their dedication to innovation truly reflects the museum’s vibrant future.
